Coaches!

Did you know our coaches are all certified with the "USA Football Head's Up" Program? Included with learning the signs and symptoms of concussions and head injuries the coaches also receive information about heat exhaustion and basic first aid. Orcutt Youth Football and CCYFL are in compliance with the newly enacted California Health & Safety Code 124235. Our coaches go through training, videos, and meetings JUST to make sure your player receives the best instruction to keep them as safe as possible. Additionally, each chapter has a designated "Player Safety Agent' on their board that provides support to all of their coaches throughout the entire season. At each game within the CCYFL, you will find a certified EMT that is ready to provide any assistance to our players in the time of medical need. From the second a potential emergency is recognized, the EMT takes over all medical care and decisions. We know how important the health and safety of your player is to you and we hold that importance to the highest degree.
